Appendicitis refers to the inflammation of your appendix. It is an organ that has a finger-like shape that projects from the colon on the low right side of the abdomen. It results in pain in the lower right part of the abdomen. However, pain starts around your navel, and then it moves. As the inflammation gets worse, appendicitis pain increases, and it becomes severe.

Symptoms of appendicitis:-

What are the causes of appendicitis?

A blockage in the lining of your appendix that causes the infection is the main reason behind the occurrence of appendicitis. The bacteria can rapidly multiply and causes inflammation of your appendix that becomes filled with pus and swollen. Your appendix can rupture if it does not receive proper treatment.
